I've been writing to AFTCO for several years, advocating for a longer version of their original fishing shorts. These are a little different from the originals, but they are just what I was looking for. I've been wearing the Original shorts for 20+ years and they have been my favorites - year around. I have a new favorite now. Comfortable; durable; great material. THANKS AFTCO!!! p.s. A few more colors would be even better

Great shorts,
Excellent! My only comment is on the plier pocket on the starboard side, I’m not a huge fan of the Velcro closure. It seems to get in the way of inserting or removing pliers, especially when you’ve got a “fish on”!
