My goto water shorts
I hemmed and hawed over purchasing these shorts for over a year due to the price. My mistake!!! The first time I wore them to kayak my local river, I knew I'd not be floating in anything else ever again. Really impressed with this material. Soft, stretchy, super quick drying and they remain cool against the skin no matter how hot it is. If I could have all of my pants and shorts made out of this material, I'd do it in a heartbeat! Material seems durable as well. Our rivers are full of chert gravel that just tears stuff up and I've sat on the gravel for two seasons now and have not had the material breach, in fact, it looks brand new still after over 700 miles of floating and sun exposure! My normal boardshorts might last a season before they wear enough from the gravel or sand that gets trapped in the kayak seat fabric. Not these! They don't show any signs of abrasion at all. I got the grey camo and they get a lot of remarks on the river. Every time I float, someone asks me about these shorts and I'm happy to tell them all about my experience. Y'all keep up the great work AFTCO! I look forward to purchasing more of your products in the future!

Great shorts. The right side pocket is useless, the sizes run a bit big. But they are great shorts
