AFTCO Announces Big Bass Tour Conservation Partnership

AFTCO Announces Big Bass Tour Conservation Partnership

Unlike traditional bass fishing tournaments where anglers weigh in five bass at the end of the day, the Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's Big Bass Tour provides amateur anglers from all skill levels the opportunity to win multiple cash payouts each day during the hourly weigh-ins. More than 8,000 anglers participate in Big Bass Tour events each year.

AFTCO's Live Release boat—dubbed the Bass Bus—will be on site to help ensure a safe and healthy release to all weighed fish. In addition, anglers will receive a copy of AFTCO's Bass Care 101 pamphlet and provided with the opportunity to take part in AFTCO's Pitch It incentive program. In addition to coming on onboard to help support and promote conservation efforts at 2019's tournaments, AFTCO will be outfitting the Big Bass Tour staff with performance fishing shirts, fishing hats and other technical products. Co-branded clothing featuring some of the AFTCO's best-sellers will be available to select anglers.
